We used Adobe premiere pro to edit our opening title sequence.

We learnt that bins were incredibly useful when acquiring the footage from the camera files as it was already in chronological order so all takes of the same shot were also grouped together which made selecting the right shot easy and efficient.

The software also contained the cut tool which allowed me to cut the footage and the extact points so we could decide how long each shot should be and what would be shown from each shot, this was also incredibly useful when cutting down the sequence at the end.

The zoom tool allowed me to look at the sequence in greater detail especially when there were lots of fast cuts with a short duration (which took place near the end of the sequence) which therefore meant i could decipher between the shots and make clear decisions of those shots should combine and play out as a sequence.

The color correction tool allowed us to modify how the shots of the scene looked in terms of color composition, white balance, gain, frame positioning etc, this enabled me to fix any shots that may have been shot in a different type of lighting to others but still in the same location, this was due to the time of day lighting provided by natural elements such as the sun, so to fix this we could make the darker shots more realistic by increasing the brightness and exposure.
