On the shoot day we used Black Magic Mini 4K Cameras which were set up using a Tripod and boom mic. The Tripod allowed my group and I to modify the height of the camera to allow for a dynamic range of shots and camera angles, which could further connote the various meanings that we tried to present in the opening title sequence.

 

For the opening shot we held the boom mic near the vinyl player but out of the shot in order for it to not be seen yet pick up all the details of the diegetic ambient sound, this boom mic was plugged in the XLR input, specifically in input 1 as this was the channel we were recording. The camera was positioned high up upon the tripod to initiate a high angle shot and then tilt the camera up slowly for a tilt shot whilst also turning the focus dial into a focus pull shot.

For the shot of the man turning around and opening the door to reveal the woman with the funnel in her mouth, the camera tilts down slightly to have a full view a few of the woman, as well as a focus pull transitional from the poison mixture to the womens face after the door opens. This shot was a mid long shot which then transitioned to a low angle shot to connote the helplessness of the woman in her situation.
